Susan Hilk is a pediatric nurse practitioner who cares for young patients with a range of digestive system disorders, specializing in those of the liver. She particularly enjoys educating patients and their families about their conditions and treatments, so they fully understand how the combination of medications, procedures and lifestyle changes can promote well-being. She champions a team approach to supporting patients throughout treatment.

Hilk earned a bachelor's degree in child development at the University of California, Berkeley, followed by a bachelor's degree in nursing at Columbia University. She earned a master's degree in nursing at UCSF.
