Christine Zalecki

Christine Zalecki is a clinical psychologist who specializes in the diagnostic assessment of children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and learning disorders. She also provides individual and family therapy services for young people with ADHD and other behavioral disorders; her expertise includes psychosocial therapies such as behavior modification techniques. In addition, she leads group training for parents and skills training for children with learning and attention problems, and she provides school consultations.

In her research, Zalecki has studied ADHD and the development life skills programs for children with attention disorders. She directed two studies in these areas funded by the National Institute of Mental Health.

Zalecki earned a doctorate in clinical science at the University of California, Berkeley. She completed a clinical fellowship at UCSF.

Zalecki has published research articles and contributed to books on ADHD. She also speaks regularly at Bay Area schools, information sessions for parents and meetings of mental health professionals.
